   This book documents the Actualist poetry movement in Iowa City in 1975. It is a novel so the actual documentation of the movement takes a back seat to plot, character and other considerations, but it was important to me to state what it was, get it out there and even write a few of my own. You might consider it bad poetry but what I put in there was my version of actualism.

   The book is a coming-of-age and crime novel with lots of poetry in it, but mostly short ones. Its only weakness is perhaps its implication that all Actualist poetry is short - it's not. All Actualist poetry in this book is short, but that's different. Anyway I hope you enjoy it....it's cheap and available through Amazon.
