an intersection ahead, lights in the sun
my intention, my meaning, an allusion
& your recognition, your own approach
& a doorway, an accident, unspoken possibilities
a blog is a threshold, a moment, an incident
the real world a screech of brakes, stress and darkness,
or the pieces of glass, the reflection, the changing lights after dark
though now the road has flattened out, horizon empty
but you were there, i saw you & remember,
while the yellow lines, the rearview mirror, the keyboard
are illusions of the moment, black on white, another word on the screen
