Pathetic Literature

Eileen Myles: Readings from Pathetic Literature. At MOMA, live and online program.

Thought I'd give these folks a plug because they are doing something interesting. The Pathetic Literature collection is an interesting new publication, but they are using MOMA (53rd St., Manhattan) and the Downtown Y (92nd St.) is sponsoring it. It's a Manhattan thing. And I'm way out here in Illinois, but because they have an online program, I can participate.

In fact I might not, because I have too many other irons in the fire, but I like the idea of getting online and presenting poetry, live, like you would at a poetry slam or another kind of live event. It's what I aspire to. So that's why I put it up here, to document the development of worldwide, online poetry presentation events, made available if not free to everyone everywhere.

It's a new world at the zoom coffeehouse.
